This is my very first deck! I wanted to play with the Ranger/Steward duo, with a splash of builders just to please Mr Snow / generate some gold and card draw. The prince in question is obviously Jon Snow. Started off as a fealty deck but I think it can win enough power struggles to have this be Promised Prince instead. I come from MtG, specifically commander, so that particular style of deck is appealing. Plus, I love Jon SOOOOOO much and would like to ACTUALLY be playing with his card when possible.
I'm gonna try to make a wildlings deck next, maybe.
I AM LOOKING FOR FEEDBACK! Please comment with any neutral cards that would be a good fit, theres so many neutrals I feel so lost when I look through them.
EDIT1: Did you know the [J] has rules implications? Who knew?
EDIT2: I learned that When All Is Darkest exists. WOW. Removed 1 Daggers in the Dark cuz I like this more and 1 Guarding the Realm cuz I think SNATCHING a shadows card is MUCH cooler than scrounging around someone's discard for whatever bum ended up in there.
As you are using Prince that was Promised I would recommend x3 copies of Jon Snow, to maximise your chance of finding him and to have more duplicates to be used as saves on him.
I think you might struggle to get enough gold out from your plots and locations. It is probably worth having a plot that is very high gold, so you can afford Jon and something else as required. Something like Late Summer Feast or Trading with the Pentoshi. I think more economy locations are required. I think x10 eco locations is maybe a good rough guide for the average.
Maybe think about Longclaw and The Lord Commander attachments, so that Jon could gain renown and therefore gain more power.
Good luck with the deck building!
