Dextronus 1
I won a small Winter Tournament with this deck.
The deck has two win conditions; using icon removal and stealth to get the kill effects through and take control of the board, or go for card advantage and win with a Varys reset.
PLOT CHOICES
Calling the Banners: this is the deck's main econ plot, I prefer it over Noble Cause because of the high initiative.
Calm Over Westeros: a good versatile plot. Can be used to solidify early board position by eliminating military claim, or stalling the game out in later turns by reducing power claim.
Confiscation: this plot is just always a good choice I think, there are always pesky attachments to get rid of (the milk on nymeria being the main one!)
Here to Serve: Maester Caleotte is awesome, that's the reason for this plot
Marched to the Wall: this plot is great with the things i do for love, and can get rid of a duped character after a varys reset
Summons: a really versatile plot, you can look for whatever you need in the moment - varys for a reset, or even just a chud if you're desperate for claim soak!
Wardens of the West: this plot has strong base stats and its ability can be game winning.
CARDS THAT MIGHT BE GOOD/MIGHT BE BAD
I should really cut down to 60, but I haven't figured out what to cut yet. I'm playing at 62 at the moment and seeing which cards are under performing. If anyone has suggestions for cards to cut let me know.
Syrio Forel: the theory is that this guys helps you get though your kill effects, but I haven't actually drawn him in a game yet so I have no idea if he's worth a slot.
Rattleshirt's Raiders: milk on Nymeria is such a blowout that I feel obligated to run more attachment hate; maybe its not worthwhile, I'm not sure.
Ser Jaime Lannister: If I had to cut one of the expensive characters it would be him.
Widows Wail/Seal of the Hand: seal is amazing on Tywin, pretty good on tyrion, and mainly its protection against chair. I'm almost tempted to cut all attachments so that the opponent's confiscation is useless, but widow's wail is so good at getting put to the sword through. I'm tempted to replace seal with a second widow's wail. Confiscation on a widow's wail doesn't seem that bad since it gets most of its value on the turn you ambush it in.
