R1: Targ Fealty End of turn 1 marshalling his board was Dany and 3 dragons. Turn 2 he got down Drogo and more stuff. Didn't draw a Hand's Judgement all game, but got an early Marg. Didn't give him any chance to burn anyone all game, Standy Randy got up to 5 power on him when I played First Snow. Hadn't noticed til then that Bodyguard doesn't stop bounces, Marg who was Bodyguarded went to hand, so I couldn't capitalise on his reduced board because I couldnt' risk anyone in a challenge. Think I won with him on 12 power. R2: Stark Fealty This was a lot easier thanks to early Gregor. His Sneak attack turn he threw 5 guys into military challenge, 2G available and (I found out afterwards) +1 Claim in hand. Gregor + Marg + Ambush Widows Wail + Ambush Burned Men meant he couldn't even win the challenge. Gregor got Ice'd eventually, but only after killed 2 guys with his reaction over a couple of turns. R3: Bara/Lion Super bow. All the Bara bow + Paid Off. Should be bad for a deck like this with just uniques everywhere, but he just couldn't win challenges, and Stannis hurt him way more than me. Arbor in setup or Turn 1 every game. Arbor is so absurdly strong. This deck ("Just add all the uniques") doesn't work without it. |
