Made top 8 cut in ~80 person regional at Uk Games Expo.
Copied another deck which I've forgotten the name of (it did really well at a bunch of other regionals) and made a few changes almost all of which probably made the deck worse.
Won all its games in swiss and lost first round in the cut (my fault not the decks!) and is great fun to play!

I rarely used frozen solid on the day but I was expecting more Martell (faced 2 stark fealty, Martell/sun, NIghts watch/lion and Lani/kraken) but it does shutdown Ghaston wonderfully. Would probablay drop 1 Frozen Solid depending on what I'd be expecting to face. Ward was great all day, saw use in most games no idea if a 3rd one woudl be great. Also I meant it won all the games I played :p and ~80 was an estimation since I couldn't remember the exact numbers! |
So many lies.... One of the Swiss games was a draw, tournament was "only" 72 players.
I think this is a great starting point though to have a discussion on how many Wards and Frozen Solids are the correct answer for "the" Stark deck. Wonder if there is scope to escalate Ward to 3 and force people into reviewing attachment hate options.
