This deck is so good. It tooks me to Top 4 in two regionals in a row and 2nd in a Spring tournament.

Free game Spring tournament (20 players): 4-1 swiss rounds

Barcelona Regional (77 players): 4-1 in swiss rounds

Valencia Regional (35 players): 5-0 in swiss rounds (1st place after swiss)

Then I lost both Regional tops in semifinal, sadly.

You could see: 13-2 record in 3 tournament in a row (with some minor changes between tournaments).

I know Banner of the Stag its not so common but you have to consider it as an real option. Banner of the Stag and the kneel package give you a soft control that makes easy to control the challenge phase.

This deck is mainly and challenge, so if you could kneel oponent's best character with INT or MIL is much more easy to trigger PTTS o Tears. Also, kneel is a good solution to control game breakers as Mirri, Mountain, Tywin, Robert, Tyene...

The deck is all about First Snows of Winter, and kneel you oponent best char when First Snow are revealed is so good.

@jm2215: Thank you man!. You told "if you play Tywin play 3 seals and Thank me later", so, thank you :-) You are completely right. Tywin plus seal is too powerful for not play 3 of each.

Give this deck a chance and you will see how powerful it is!

I like this deck and its track record is very hard to argue with! Well done. My questions would be these: 1 - would you consider Barristan Selmy at all? maybe even just 1 copy as another bodyguard? 2 - With this being a first snow deck, do you ever find it hurting you with all the 2-3 cost you have? I mean, I know you can re-play a fiery follower to trigger Melisandre again; but, it just seems like there are many 3 costs in here. 3 - would you ever consider a second maester cressen, to stop milk of the poppy? 4- what do you think about king robert's warhammer? 5 - any changes you would suggest for future events? Thanks for sharing,

Did you ever struggle to find Mel? You aren't running Summons and without her the R'hllor cards aren't nearly as good.

@YEEZUS: 1- Yes, I had tested it before Valencia's tournament. He is not that bad, but he does not do what the deck needs, improve GJ and Bara match-ups. And he is not against Mirri neither Tyene. On the other hand, Bodyguard is not only protection for your main characters, it improved setups and also is good agains seastone and rainding longship that are a real pain in the ass.

2 - Yes, it hurts. The deck have a little bit too much 3 costers, but it is a handicap of playing R'hllor package. Nothing to do if you want to play with R'hllor. And, do not understimate how good is kneel the best oponent char in First snow round, and the next round with the same char that came back to hand.

3- I wouldn't. If you want to put another card agains milk I will put Rattleshirt's Raiders. I don't want dupes of the non main characters to avoid dead draws.

4- I don't like hammer because i want to go second normally. So, there are not to many targets to kneel normally if you go second. And it is quiet expensive.

5- If you don't expect Naval superiority in your meta I suggest Summons in that slot for the plot line. But i would change anything in the deck. But when the spoiled Ruby of R'hllor will be realeased for sure I'll put it 1x in the deck.

@AcePrositterSometimes you don't find Mel, yes it happens. But that deck can play "normal Lanni" anyway. You know what I mean. The deck have a lot of good characters, if you don't draw Mel, sure you are going to draw other main chars. The deck is not Mel dependant. Also, R'hllor weenies are not very good without Mel, but they are not that bad and let you play See in Flames that is a huge card.
