I really tried making it work. Tweaked it several times, and I think it's not bad. Not good either though. Ned is good in the watch and the little birds help save him, and take care of many first snow situation. But he's too weak to actually win challenges. Only with both the Old Bear and the wall out - but it's hard to count on it and it's very expensive.

Funny decks is what I do. But I usually try to make them work, at least most of the times. This one is fun but... not yet working. Would love to see your version.

I've always imagined the goal of bannering Wolf is to increase the speed of a NW deck. With that in mind, I think Core Jon Snow with Longclaw is a must. There's a case to be made for with Fast Eddie or Core Ned, but that comes down to personal preference.

@Sink74That's an interesting point. The idea behind core Ned is defending The Wall, which doesn't really work well with Jon Snow. So I'm not sure what's better. But I'm happy to try it.

@holytisponThe Wall is a good card, but it's not going to win you the game by itself. I've found the best Night's Watch decks have other means of gaining power.
