Characters and locations like Salty Navigator, Drowned God's Blessing and The Kingsroad add for bonus initiative! You also gain 1 gold every time you win initiative when King Balon Solar is in play. Greyjoy aims to have as many stealth options as possible. For example Theon, Asha, and Maester Wendaymr all have stealth on their own, while the Great Kraken can give Balon Greyjoy stealth, and Pyke can give any Greyjoy character stealth for one turn. If all else fails, Ours is the Old Way is a last ditch effort to buff up your characters with stealth, or take your adversaries' stealth away from them. If character's are still giving you trouble by passing them attach a Drowned God's Blessing to Balon Greyjoy with a Priest of the Drowned God on the field to buff up his strength, adding targets to his list for which he can by pass with his ability for Balon to come in for a free unopposed challenge! Besides the extra acquired power token that comes with going unopposed House Greyjoy possess added bonuses for your success in battle. The Seastone Chair allows an unopposed military challenge to become one in which you chose the character in which military claim is struck upon. We Do Not Sow discards an attachment or location for any unopposed challenge in which you are the victor. Lastly The Reader allows House Greyjoy to draw 1 card from their draw deck or discard the top 3 cards from each opponent( a combo that works great with Euron Crow's Eye's effect) and Great Kraken provides Greyjoy with either gaining a power for their faction or drawing a card. There may be times in which a Put to the Sword, Like Warm Rain, Trial by Combat, Vengeance for Elia, or Tears of Lys puts you off gaurd and you must kill one of your characters, have no fear! Cards like Iron Mines and Risen from the Sea allow you to save your characters on a whim. As mentioned before, you want to protect your characters from Tears of Lys card for any who do not have intrigue icons. In this case you want to equip them Little Bird attachments so that they have intrigue icons of their own! this will help for pushing for that last unopposed challenge for your Rise of the Kraken plot card.
