Really interesting deck concept! I actually have a local store tournament that implements deck building restrictions to make it thematic to GoT's Robert's Rebellion (what houses can have what banners, etc.). This deck fits right into those rules!

Though, have you been able to play test enough to speak if Summons x2 is really necessary? You have Ser Hobber to help you find Daenerys Targaryen/Margaery Tyrell. I'd think that 1 copy of Summons would suffice as you can find any of those 3 cards with it...and if you grab Ser Hobber Redwyne, you get 2-for-1.

Hey, thanks! This came about almost by accident actually as I was trying to build something to play against what turned out to be a much worse lannister deck!

That is very true, I hadn't considered that in my haste. Probably A Game of Thrones or Power Behind the Throne to replace it.

I'm not entirely sold on either of those plot swaps. I'd personally vote for Calm Over Westeros for the higher income and early protection should board presence not be favorable. A Game of Thrones would probably hurt this deck more than benefit due to the lack of icons, by comparison. And Power Behind the Throne just doesn't have the right stats (partnered with Handmaiden and the stand dragon). Just personal preference, but I'm going to test this bad boy out with a Calm instead of the second Summons :).

My mistake, I meant A Clash of Kings not A Game of Thrones - this deck throws out alot of power challenges and would compliment that I feel. I mentioned Power Behind the Throne because of the standing, which is important for Dany, but having experienced the full force of it today I can confidently say this deck already has that in spades! Magister Illyrio / Margaery Tyrell combo is particularly ridiculous. You could of course use Handmaiden on her too, if you felt like getting +9 strength on a particular character that turn....

If you feel like really overclocking that Margery, throw in Horas.
