I am building a rains martell for melee with decent power grab (boneway, few renowns, doran's game) and heavy control (intrigue, lys, gg, nymeria, etc.). I already cut a few cards but ideally I would like to put it around 60-65 cards.

Are there any cards that fit the theme? Are there martel/neutral cards that are considered great (or are better) for melee? Should I cut any of these?

If you wanna winning in melee you really need 3x Red Viper and 3x Superior Claim and build deck around this cards, because melee is a rush game (i'm not sure if valar change much in meta). Best support for Viper from Rains of Castamere is plot Power behind the throne. For me icon removers and events like HVE or ToL are totally needless - ok, you blocked one opponent, but what about remaining.

Try to focus about lords to get huge str for Viper. Also >50% chars in deck is really important things : ), you can fill in deck with Bastard Daughters (discarding card from all of opponents!) and Tyene (she can poison any char on table : > not only opp who loses challenge)

@VegetaZenI've actually built a new deck since more focused on Lords and discouraging of enemies to attack (VfE, GG, Boneway, Sunspear, etc.). I took out the icon control too for it being too too little of a control for 2 opponents. I couldn't test it yet, but another version with just GG and some lords worked well enough. I didn't see that rush, it may be because we play differently, but in a game with a Lanni-stag, Stark-fealty I was barely attacked, even when the player's only target was me due to the choice in role cards. So it played out very slowly, we were around plot 4-5 when I managed to grab a win almost, me and the lanni were both 14-14, but that deck had no VfE, Boneway, I could only rely on the lords, I don't know if a slow-themed deck like this could work in an actual melee with different players, but so far my experience is that players cut each other down, and melee games can easily extend over 5-6 rounds, is that the general case or we are just playing painfully slow I wonder.
