Here is the ultra competitive deck I've been working on for months (it's had 16 revisions over the last 6 months) and took to Nashville's Store Championship yesterday.

We only had 9 players (because frankly I did a poor job promoting, plus this time of year -- but waiting until the new year runs the risk of bad weather depressing attendance as well, so I think we just have to say "Thanks FFG" for moving the "everyone but Star Wars" track to these months and this is one hell of a run-on sentence). Since these are considered Casual events, we ran 3 rounds, cut to Top 4.

Round 1: vs. Eric, Lanni Rains. A very even battle, despite me thinking I was running behind, and despite Eric groaning at everything I was able to put out. I had an early Blackfish with Appointed and Edmure with a dupe which stopped him from Triggering Jamie and Cersei's power gain. A confiscation and an intrigue challenge later, Blackfish was dead, but I got Fat Cat right after. I was able to stop him from triggering Rains round after round, until round 5. My plot was Wardens, but I only had 1 INT icon out. I marshaled core Sansa (knelt) instead of Septa Mordane, bad mistake -- he marshaled Tyrion and was able to stealth the only available INT icon I could use to block his use of Rains. From there, I couldn't stop Rains again. It ended 2 turns later with his use of Gregor and a few treacheries.

Round 2: vs. Scott, Targ Kraken. Absolute crush. I had a poor draw, but good luck with the opening plot (Heads on Spikes killed Pyat Pree). He got the Targ Selmy out quickly with a Little Bird, and kept his hand small so he could push all 3 challenges through every round. Round 2, we both played Calm and named Military in an attempt to build our boards. He dracarys'd me down to 1 character and then opened the next turn with Marched. I was able to bring out Eddard with a bodyguard, thinking I could survive the round; he threw down an Iron Mines and a Khal Drogo. I conceded at that point.

Round 3: I got the bye. As in, bye, Felicia. My day was over, far more quickly than anticipated. I went out not with a bang, but with a wet fart. However, as always, I think I play with the best bunch of people a meta can have. So, thanks to all who came!
