Took this deck 4-0 at the Gamer's Den Store Championship in Cambridge, MN on 1/29/17. Turns out Bara Kneel is still good! If I were to change anything I would find room for a third copy of Cressen. He is insanely good in this Bodyguard-heavy meta.

Grats on the win! Do you think summer was worth it with the 2 summer plots? I love bara but cannot for the life of me decide on an agenda :/

Hey thanks @Dantz! Summer is absolutely worth it over Fealty in my opinion. There aren't really any neutral cards I'd be willing to cut in this deck. The +1 to reserve is actually the main point of the agenda. With the Iron Throne and the Red Keep out you will routinely have 2 or 3 more cards than your opponent after taxation. This deck is all about options, and the more options you can keep in your hand for the new round, the better the deck will do.

@BenBarnhart what is you opening plot? summons i guess? What do you usually look for with it?

BenBarnhart 230

@exoterdepends on the situation, but usually Time of Plenty if I have a good setup. I only open summons if I set up some economy and it's absolutely critical to see Mel on turn 1.

Two quick questions: is there a point to the house maesters other than their stats? And why not Core Stannis?

BenBarnhart 230

@MaesterPetyr the House Maesters are there for their icons at the 2-slot. Really great chud in this deck. And Core Stannis is also good, but in my experience King Stannis has been performing much better. He gives you the opportunity to have some control over your opponent while still allowing you to have more than just Rob and Stannis as your threats. Additionally he can pull off some janky combos like keeping your own Selmy knelt if you expect a Valar next round. He's just all-around solid.
