Rules FAQ

  • You choose the value of X when you bring Nightflyer out of shadows. The cost of X can still be reduced by cards like Hizdahr zo Loraq without affecting your range of possible targets.

  • It is possible for Nightflyer to get another instance of the shadow keyword, with a different shadow cost. This can happen if it is placed in shadows by a card such as We Light the Way. In such a case, you choose which instance of shadow you use to bring it out of shadows. You have to use the original "Shadow (X)" to be able to trigger the reaction afterwards.

  • Unlike the original version of the card, this one does not allow you to target limited locations. However, you could still do that if you blank them first (for instance, with Nightmares or the assault keyword).
