• You need to have fewer cards in hand than the losing opponent at the point when you trigger the reaction, not at the point when you win the challenge. For instance, if you have the same number of cards in hand as the losing opponent and you trigger Ser Barristan Selmy (FtR) first, you can then trigger Hero in the same reaction window as well.
