Rules FAQ

  • A quantity cannot be reduced so that it functions with a value below zero. If you have one or more copies of Lonely Hills in play and they add up to a negative number of plots in your used pile, you are considered to have 0 plot cards in your used pile.

  • Lonely Hills and Gulltown can create an irrational situation where you would be considered to have 0 plot cards in your used pile and still have a City plot card in your used pile at the same time. Even though such a scenario is physically impossible, it is still perfectly valid in this game.

  • Lonely Hills works favourably with The Wars To Come agenda. You will reach the prized threshold later than you normally would.

  • It is possible to move your final plot card to the bottom of your used pile with Change of Plans, leaving you with an empty plot deck. If that happens, return each plot card in your used pile to your plot deck, as you would after you reveal your final plot card in the normal way.

Just to add to that last entry, this interaction will be clarified in an upcoming FAQ update. It was decided to add this ruling for any future House Umber mechanics, rather than complicate the wording in a way that makes sure the interaction with Change of Plans can never happen. — Odrl 1251
