Rules FAQ

  • You can trigger the reaction even if the card is already revealed (for instance, due to Wardens of the East), or if attached character is already standing.

  • Even though Torch and Oil is a reaction to a card being drawn, you must make sure the opponent knows in advance that you might trigger it, because the card(s) you are reacting to must be identifiable at the point when you are triggering the reaction. If the cards were already added to hand in a way where they can no longer be tracked, it is impossible to verify that the correct card will be revealed.
