I used it in a small tourney (8 people), 4-0 against Tyrell/Banner of the Lion, Tyrell/Fealty, Lannister/Fealty and Greyjoy/Fealty. It did nice in tests but specially against Bara/Fealty and Greyjoy/Fealty decks.

How do you like Varys in here? He is very hard to play with the plots you have, and the lack of Duplicates on your characters isn’t really helping if the opponents plays a deck with more uniques than you (most of the decks out there have more uniques than this list).

I play something similar and I completely got rid of Varys and I am running 2 copies of Robert and Stannis, along with Wildfire as a soft board control.

@HidaHayabusayou have to save a The Kingsroad for Varys, not difficult really, the cost of the most of the characters is cheap, or you can use A Feast for Crows or any 5 income plot if you have already a The Roseroad in play.

I didn’t have many problems with opponent uniques, Marched to the Wall after Varys solved that kind of problems normally. After reset I have hand superiority upon rival normally, and I can bring 2-3 cheap chars to control the table.

That’s what I mean by saying it’s difficult to marshall. You have to play second (avoid Poppy) and save a Kingsroad for him. Of course if you wipe the board and leave no saved characters, then it’s easy to control the board by setting up a small board and locations, but my experience is that his timing is really awkward in such a list, firstly because you only have Melissander for poppy target, and he will not always be easy to protect. However, since you did manage to win with it, it seems that you’ve found a playstyle that fits you :)

Yeah, of course it suits to my risky playstyle :D But i didn’t really needed Robert Baratheon or Stannis Baratheon in this deck. It’s a different thing.
