Its a straight-forward Knights and Ladies deck. A little complicated to pilot, but effective.

-EDIT 3- People seem interested in this deck- by all means! If you run a copy of it, post a new deck list, but be sure to use the "inspired by" button so I can see how they do. :)

-EDIT- This deck took Top-of-Swiss in the 2016 ETX Tacoma Regionals, as well as 2nd place overall. It lost to Martell-banner-Lion.

-EDIT 2- So, I've been asked to do a tournament report for this deck. I will endeavor to take notes in the future, as the first three games the details are starting to blur together. They were, in order, Lannister Banner of the Sun, Lannister Banner of the Kraken, and Martell Banner of the Lion.

The most notable event during those games was in the third, against another Martell Banner Lion, where he used, in order, Ghastion Grey, His Viper Eyes (to hit the character out of my hand), and Vengance for Elia in one challenge, then Marched my remaining character (Margaery). I was able to recover only because he marched, instead of killed her.

The generic strategy for the games was similar- use my icon spread to produce 3 or more challenges (the Informant) a turn, saving those with Renown for the ones I can win. The deck itself provides many basic synergies with itself, between sit/stand, STR buffs, and power gain events to burst to 15 power, as quickly as possible.

Game 4 was against my meta-mate, running Baratheon Fealty. This match was a pivotal reminder that card draw wins games. Getting power challenges to deny the Red Keep, as well as a touch of luck (he forgot to trigger the Keep on one turn), and I was able to burst ahead.

Game 5 was streamed on Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/etxlive/v/69262560), against Targaryen Fealty. He set up a solid field of double Unsullied. I was able to exploit the fact that the Hedge Knight becomes 3 strength when another knight enters the field, and make the Unsullied the lowest STR on the field- a target for the House FLorent knight. The ability to keep the field slim for the Targaryen player, in tandem with the fact he was unable to draw answers to my field in time made the Tourny for the King turn strong.

Game 6, the first game of the cut to Finals, was against another fellow Tacoma player. He ran Lannister, Banner of the Sun. Navigating past the major threats of ambush and Martell icon removal was rough, but a Tears of Lys on Nymeria helped swing the game in my favor. I was able to talk to him, and get the game from his perspective. To quote, "the main thing i remember was my opening setup draw was tywin, mountain, kings road, and some events and attachments. i mulliganed because i didnt know if you were running marched or not. i mulliganed into some cheap chuds and drew into nymeria which you ended up tearsing. and you were gaining power faster than i could deal with."

Game 7, top 4, was against Martell Banner of the Lion. The match is available on Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/etxlive/profile). I don't really have much to say about this match that isn't covered in the stream. It was a rough match, and I was worried about it going in. Burst power, though helped win the day.

Game 8 is also on Twitch, with commentary provided by my opponents from games 4 and 5 (https://www.twitch.tv/etxlive/v/69372313?t=26m56s). An amazing hand by my opponent, running another Martell Banner of the Lion (my third time playing against it this tournament), as well as a massive misplay by me on turn 2 sealed the game. The rest was me trying to buy time to make my comeback, to no avail, as he was able to capitalize on his position very well.

Awesome! I think Tyrell has a lot of potential.

If you were to take out a couple cards for a 60 card deck, which ones would you take out? Also, would this deck work with fealty?

a) Ive thought long and hard about that, and the answer is I wouldn't, or else I would have posted a 60 card deck. The amount of the deck you go through on the opening turn alone in this game helps you past the hard 60 barrier, not to mention the somewhat reliable card draw you can otherwise achieve.

b) Fealty? No. This deck relies on TLotC. It is one of your main, reliable sources of power gain, and the combat math mechanics of Tyrell, not to mention Randyll Tarly himself synergize with it immensely (yes, The Lord of the Crossing stands Randy if hes in on the third challenge.) Fealty would help only four cards in the deck, The Mander, The Queen of Thorns, The Arbor, Paxter Redwyne, all of which you can play reliably otherwise. Not to mention the unnecessary restriction it puts on you that would force you to take out a card.

Thanks for the analysis. I'll try this deck out.
