Deck
Although the most effective challanges are . The deck has quite covered all the icons. Also gets quite quickly acquire power in a short time. With renown on Tywin Lannister, Ser Gregor Clegane and during ; Ser Jaime Lannister.
With lot of kill options: Trial by Combat, Tears of Lys and Put to the Sword. Trial by Combat with Cersei Lannister is a bom. (2 claim kill)
Improvements
None without completely changing the deck.
I understand this isn't the best lannister deck around, but it works as it does and fear that just tweaking a few cards doesn't do the trick of improving.
Although I have considered changes:
But didn't know what to pull from the deck. As for Calling the Banners it was because I wasn't hoping of leaving much characters alive.
Tournament
All over I am very pleased and proud with the results. Had the to compete against the top 4 players (3 of the top 4 during the Swiss part) of our meta. I can't remember all the details, but I am trying to write down as much as possible.
First round
WIN Against a lannister banner targ./ One of the decks I feared most due the Mirri Maz Duur kill engine. Lucky I had an almost perfect setup with Tywin Lannister and a Lannisport Merchant. And opened with a Naval Superiority as opening plot that hit my opponents Trading with the Pentoshi. What gave me the advance for the whole game.
Second round
WIN Against stark with banner lion / Again a great setup with Tywin Lannister, Lannisport Merchant and Western Fiefdom. Since it got out I used Naval Superiority, I saved that one for later and started with A Noble Cause. I quite quickly got a strong board position and with the renown it was won quite quickly.
Third round
WIN Lannister / lord of the crossing Or also know as jumping lions. Was an interesting game and sealed the win with a rightly timed first snow of winter and Small Council Chamber#sma and Casterly Rock.
Fourth round
WIN Martell banner dragon / I had an ok to great setup and my opponent had a slow start. What gave the win after I locked everything down.
Semi final
WIN Martell banner dragon / Against same player of the fourth round. This time I didn't had a great setup and start in drawing of my cards. So this was more challenging round.
Final
LOSE Stark banner sun / Although it wasn't a lose from the start. I didn't once had the feeling I had board position.
