Tyrion was right. Cersei is pretty dangerous when she is conscious. How many decks can hit 5 characters per round with no money at the start of challange phase and only with one event played? Tyrion, Cersei, The Long Winter and Trial by Combat are really disgusting together. And with Nymeria, Jaime, Hound, Janos or Tywin you can also win military challenge pretty easily, after you have cleaned the table with 3 military claim intrigue. Arianne is quite handy as always and bastard daughters help to destroy opponent’s hand. Ilyn Payne and Assassins are here to clear what remains. With Wardens, Attainted, Pycelle and Lannisport there is no problem to reach big card advantage and Lannister plot is also perfect as starting piece of this machine because of immunity against Naval. Imprisoned and Milk help to save our characters, same as The Hand's Judgment and Treachery. And Tears of Lys are must-have because there are so good and easy to target in this kind of decks.

I have been inspired by Alex's Regional championship winning deck, but i have decided to reduce the number of cards and add few impactful characters instead of events. But honestly, my best deck building decision was to add The Long Winter plot. Then i tried this intrigue beast at King Robert's Spree tourney in Brno and I have reached TOP4 from 35 players with only one loss in semifinals.

Quick report:

Game 1: Petr Sýkora (Baratheon fealty) WIN I had Tywin and a reducer from the setup but my opponent marshaled triplicated Robert in the first round. Luckily I had Imprisoned and Milk for him, but my Tywin was knelt almost every round. I have managed to discard his hand, but Red Keep gave him two cards every round after he has confiscated the milk. But Jaime helped me and The Long Winter + Assassin + Trial by Combat have killed almost the whole board with two Robert's duplicates.

Game 2: Dandali (Baratheon fealty) Mod WIN It was a very entertaining game with some mistakes on both sides. I have forgotten that Selyse can add INT icon to Stannis and i was not able to win INT and trigger Wardens. I was able to control the board with attachments and Ilyn (who fortunately killed Selyse), but Katka (my opponent) collected power very quickly and suddenly I was in a really bad shape. But again, The Long Winter + Trial + tears on Robert at the right time have killed almost everyone and I was able to run for the modified win in the last round.

Game 3: Martin Urbánek (Greyjoy Sun) WIN I had no economy and my opponent was rich as a Lannister. On the other hand, I had almost all attachments in hand, and I was able to imprison Asha and Theon and to drown Nymeria in two milks (one was Confiscated). But power icons worked together with stealth, Maester Calleote, Edrick Dayne and Great Kraken and my opponent had suddenly 12 power to my 4. Wildfire, Ilyn Payne (to kill Caleotte) and The Long Winter + Trial by Combat was the key combination again, but I was regretting in this game, that I have not included 3 copies of the Trial (to have it earlier). My opponent resigned after Edrick Dayne was his only character on the board with 12 power on his housecard.

Game 4: Biggles (Lannister fealty) WIN Leaping Lions are great, but my opponent was so unlucky that he had only Cersei and Roseroad on setup against my Tyrion, Bastard Daughter and a reducer. I had no economy in the first three rounds, but I was able to put Nymeria surprisingly into play through Arianne, steal Gregor's MIL icon and kill him because Biggles had only him and Cersei (and he has chosen him because Nym would control his 10 STR long... sword). Trial by Combat and The Long Winter cleared the board two plots after that and it would be sooner if he hadn't played treachery twice on Tyrion's reaction (Cersei was on the board). Really good play by Biggles, but his deck kicked him badly at the start.

Game 5: MIl (Martell Lion) WIN Two tears in hand and milk on Nymeria in the first round were too much to handle even for such a great player. I killed Gregor with tears in the first round and after Milan has confiscated milk from Nymeria, I was able to put the other tears on her too. There was no need to play along. I was a bit lucky again.

TOP 8: Biggles (Lannister fealty) WIN My opponent has done no mistakes, but he was really unlucky in both matches and it seems that I was his nightmare at this tourney. I was the only player who has beaten Biggles and unfortunately for him, he met me twice. At this game we had both OK setups, but his event Never Bet against My Family showed only 3 locations and 2 events. I was able to control his board pretty easily with my whole army (the only game I had Tywin on the board except for the first game). The Long Winter ruined him badly again.

TOP 4: André (Targaryen Crossing) LOSS All my luck came far away from me in this game. I had OK setup (Tyrion, Assassin and reducer) without ECO. But André put Crown of Gold on Tyrion immediately. Then I went through with Wardens INT Challenge with Cersei and Assassin and as i have expected, Cersei was burned with Dracarys. But OK, i was at least able to clean his hand a little bit. Next round I must play money plot and went first. I played Nym and Jaime, but both was milked immediately and after confiscation the third milk landed on Nymeria. André's hand was empty and I had all 6-8 cards every round, but only characters I had was two copies of Cersei and one of Tyrion (both dead). I tried to use Wildfire and hope for better draw next time with Trading, but i have drawn only Arianne and André topdecked Danny and Jorah. There was no chance, so I have conceded. But I must say that André has done no mistakes and he would probably win even if I had better luck. His deck has won already in a bigger tournament in Germany and I was very happy with my TOP4 finish.

It was a great tournament and I have enjoyed it very much. There were very nice and happy people and I can't wait for next action! I also want to congratulate Raius, who was organizer and also the winner of this tourney! King Robert's Spree was one of the best actions I have ever visited.
