Despite the deluxe pack dropping, there's been little conversation on Rains of Castamere, as far as I could see online. So, this is a deck published to discuss it. Also I'm planning on taking this to the Battle of the Trident tournaments so I'd like to get feedback on it before I go.

Characters: I've picked pretty standard Lanni characters I believe, with probably one of the few controversial picks going with LoCR Cersei over Core Cersei. I think Core Cersei Definitely works in this setup, and makes trial by combat even more painful, but I went with LoCR Cersei instead because of four reasons. 1, I like that she doesn't kneel to attack in int challenges. 2, she has enough strength to trigger Rains on her own. 3, I'm coming to Rains after being a long time Lanni/Lord of the Crossing player, and her ability to rack up power seems like a great trade off. Lastly, and it's meta dependent but for me this applies heavily, LoCR Cersei cannot be Ward-ed. The loss of multi-claim trial is painful, but it's really the only downside, save that I might would run more copies of Gregor if I were using the cheaper Core Cersei.

Events: Meta call again, but I like Nightmares more for dealing with Winterfell than bringing milk. I also believe this deck will kill things quite often, making milk somewhat of a waste.

Two Trial by Combat because they are expensive and situational, but seeing as we now have two good opportunities to Trial thanks to Rains-Wildfire, it may need to go up to three.

Locations: Nothing special, and my reasoning is mostly because while I enjoy the idea of adding in a combo of Harrenhal+tower of the hand or Lannisport+Casterly Rock+Small Council Chamber, deck slots are tight and I feel that loading the deck with too many combos is a bad idea. Maybe there's a possibility of adding just Casterly Rock to get multiple triggers on LoCR Cersei?

Plots: My non-scheme plots are a pretty standard lanni plot arrangement, the flex slot being heads on spikes, which again I chose to get yet another LoCR Cersei trigger. I'd have gone with two Heads on Spikes, but I feel most of the plots are needed.

For Rains scheme plots, I've found the choices actually quite limited. Wildfire is a must and I think possibly the entire reason someone would play a Rains deck. Littlefinger's meddling goes nicely with the amount of events I'm running, and Varys' Riddle is great if you can trigger it when they have something useful on their plot. Filthy Accusations is okay, and Wardens of the West is fine for wiping out their hand, so long as I have some extra gold laying around. I feel like forgotten plans misses too many plots when triggered from Rains, and that Power behind the throne is even less desirable than Filthy Accusations.

So, thoughts? Suggestions? Any and all feedback is appreciated.
