@Ruluzz I've been running a similar deck themed around True King Stannis Baratheon. It's a straight dominance/save focused deck. Really the goal is to have as many of your heavies standing. Have you thought of replacing Robert Baratheon for Ser Barristan Selmy (TS)? Or including x3 Gendry?

@SonOfBattles1I was considering running Selmy and a Filthy to see if I couldn't trigger a save on an opponent's Valar plot phase. I just really liked the idea of running Robert Baratheon along with Stannis for the intimidate kneel lock down.

I think you probably have the right of it though - Stannis, x3 Gendry, and hard dominance rush supported by saves. Presently the one of Gendry in this deck is to act as a bit of a red herring - in my meta he almost always gets milked or put ASAP (after Mel, of course)

@RuluzzIf you're looking for intimidate kneel lockdown Stannis Baratheon (Core) with the Baratheon kneeling tech would work better with Fat Bob. With that said, that deck is usual a control and power rush theme. True King Stannis is most effective in a focused Dominance deck.

@SonOfBattles1Definitely agree here, but I wanted to see how precision kneel would work out - you don't really get that with core Stannis. For example, in one of my games I kept Asha locked down from set up which was incredibly helpful (until Valar wiped me).

Farlokko 1

@Ruluzz If you want a couple of advices: more selyse, less pylos, less hunting party, more red keep, less attachments, more events. That should improves the deck's performances :)

Did you like the new Stannis?

@FarlokkoI do like him, particularly when I was on the defense. Bobby likes to go first in order to get his full impact, but Stannis is happy first or second. Like @SonOfBattles1pointed out, I think he belongs in the full on dominance deck - maybe even running the White Ravens/Winter Festival for even more power rush.

Samurai7 1

wouldn't Kings of Summer have been better?

@Samurai7I considered KoS, and in fact a Bara KoS placed well in the tournament, but I was trying out the Stone Drum to see what I could get out of it - so I was going to be running a lot of Kingdom and minimal Summer.
