This is a deck i built recently just to use Dagmer Cleftjaw for the first time... Turns out, this deck actually does work against the current meta. It is 8-0 so far on Ironthrone.net and irl. One deck type i haven't played against is rains so the jury is still out on that matchup. The plot deck is pretty balanced in my testing.
Tips for playing the deck: get econ out early to pay for all the high costers. I usually mully til i see at least one economy card.
Going first doesn't matter so much as winning challenges with your renown characters.
UO is nice, use it when you can to pop those annoying locations or attachments with We Do Not Sow.
Drowned God's Blessing is a great card against targ! use it to protect your asha/theon/balon for when dany/dragons are out.
Cons: I could see some bad setups happening with all the high costers... mulligan is your friend when you dont have 2 chars to play (hasn't happened to me yet).
Try not to get out killed because there is no way to bring dead characters back.
New Theon Greyjoy (TFoA) gets targeted by all manner of kill effects/shenanigans because he's so good :P
