Hello everyone, thank you all for once again amazing Stahleck experience. This year I decided to share my list, that overcame all my expectations. I was hoping for 3-4 W and ended up after 2:2 in the cut. It all began after my 4th opponent Mates P told me, that I’ll make it. I’ve been wanting to play Raider-themed deck for a while now. Sadly not many cards with “Raider” in the text as synergy are competitive. Since playing the 8 Regents tournament for the amazing Captain Alex (France), I have been perfecting the deck, trying out variations with more bestow or more shadows or more hand hate with Taking the Shield Islands plus Nighttime Marauders (R). At the end, this list prevailed.

I named the deck after the routine that I performed during the joust to ground myself, when I was feeling the pressure - naming the things that are on my agenda card in my head. Staying calm was responsible for at least 50% of the outcome in my last 4 games.

The deck is a resilient combination of destructive and productive build. After discussion with David (Lemming) I put tech against Targ Burn specifically, such as Baelor Blacktyde and At the Palace of Sorrows (DotE). He additionally suggested 2x Barring the Gates, which I didn’t do and regretted throughout the tournament, although all my plots were at some points crucial. Big thanks to you for your insights! Bran the Builder as a starter leaves me usually with a full hand turn 2 and fetches Corpse Lake against Stark and Foamdrinker against Martell. The most important card from draw deck is the sexy Lucas that is a Raider, holds the Crown, loads the Begging Brother (and all the others) and stands with Maiden's Bane. The other MVP is Rhymes With Meek that solved my mid-game draw problem. Of course the main destructive tech is the event package. The strongest thing about The Kraken's Grasp is, that many players simply don’t expect it because it is not played.
