How I Learned to Stop Enslaving and Love the Dragon

Another theorycraft from a guy who has never played the game!

The idea here is pretty simple. I see some synergy between Sea of Blood (R) and Daenerys Targaryen (TFM), and want to maximize that value. The goal is to control the board, drop enemy characters to 0 strength and win challenges, and use Fire Made Flesh to convert the Hatchlings into huge threats, which can easily refuel Sea of Blood's counters if needed.

It need not be said, but Daenerys Targaryen (TFM), Summerhall (ChoS), and Slaver's Bay convert debuffed enemies into dead enemies, and the extra Income cards help to make sure there's always value from Daenerys, and that Daenerys and her dragons are actually playable. Sea of Blood, Meereen (R), and To Go Forward You Must Go Back provide ways to refuel and find answers.

Let me know what works and what doesn't!

Hey brother. I'm not great at this game but I would recommend not getting too crazy with the cheese whiz when it comes to deck building. This is a game with a lot of subtlety and nuance, and the strats aren't as obvious as in Magic. I would humbly suggest playing instead of posting if only to help improve. 16 Characters isn't gonna get it done. Please stay in the game, not trying to gate keep.

@Hot2Trotsky When learning any new card game, I theorycraft. I've found it to be a quick way of learning a lot of cards very quickly, seeing what cards work where, picking up on synergies, etc., and I always look back at my early decks later down the line.

Also, this isn't an easy game to get into, and I have yet to sell my friend group on it, so it'll be some time before I get a chance to play, which is all the more reason in my eyes to mess around with the card pool.

I understand your concern, but your comment is less helpful than you think it is.
