That's my version of Martells with Lord of Crossing. I played this deck with little variations during playtests and it seemed good. I managed to control the most dangerous characters and won plenty of games.

So I decided to take it to the Store Championship.

That was epic fail.

I'm just trying to figure - if this deck and this House are bad or I can't pilot it well?

My games:

1 Baratheon/Fealty

There was not very experienced player and I won it pretty easy. There was no Stannis on the table, I controled Melisandra with Milk / Ghaston and killed Cressen with tears.

2-5 Targarien (Agendas: Tyrell, Fealty, Martell, Martell)

In all this games I hadn't much chances. They just kill Doran/Arianna/Nymeria with Dracarys! or Crown of Gold and made military challenges (some times 2 if I didn't manage with Drogo) with claim 2 or just 2 military challenges. I milked Drogo, I teared him but this helped a little. Standing Daenerys Targaryen nullified my low-power characters even if I had much of them. Viper was kneeled, stealthed, lost icon (Nymeria). Rattleshirt's Raiders discarded my Milks and Attainted (in one game my opponent discarded milk from Drogo with Confiscation and then discarded Milk and Attainted from Daenerys with 2 military challenges). In the game with Fealty Targs they had Deny, Drogo and 3 dragons on the table in the first round! I had 2 Milks but this only delayed my loss.

I felt destroyed. Maybe with some luck I'll win a game or two, but overall I felt that Martell's loyal cards just too weak and too hard to make them working compared with these Targs... They destroyed my characters faster than I can build something proper.

Wow, four straight losses to Targaryen is discouraging. I've been running a similar Martell Crossing with Hedge Knights and Noble Lineage for more power icons. It's decent, but every game is a long and difficult to finish, requiring precise play the entire time. There are no easy victories like Targ, Lanni and Greyjoy can achieve.

Don't loose hope Mikelius, I just took Martell/rose to the first place in SC in Copenhagen today, with a straight 7-0 win, where none of the matches where even remotely close or tight. Martell loyal cards are absolutely great, but requires that you build around them. Areo Hotah and Ghaston Grey are absolutely great. Doran, viper, Boneway and Doran's game is using a different game plan than the the control aspect of the house. But facing Targaryen 4 times is pretty tough and probably not a great benchmark for your deck.

However I am wondering how they could kill nymeria, arianne and Doran with Dracarys, that requires them to be participating in a challenge.

Looking at your decklist, I feel that you're a little low on character for a Lord of the crossing deck, maybe cut 2 attachment and maybe a Hand´s judgement.

Hedge Knight is pretty god for this deck.

@hansnThanks for commenting. They killed my characters not simultaneously, it happened in different games. As soon as I started to build strategy around these key characters Targs kill them. Yes, they participated in challenges, but not participate is not an option. Nym was killed with Crown once. They all have STR 4 and are too vulnerable to Drakarys etc. Who wasn't killed with it was killed with military claim 2.

@Mikelius I see, think we can all agree that Targeryen is a very tough match-up for most of the lord of the crossing decks. Consider "Varys in your deck. I know most people think that varys is counter-intuitive in a Crossing deck. But I've used that card to great effect in my own Martell Crossing deck, as a counter or as a treat that I might use.
