I've since dropped PBtT for Counting Coppers. One Handmaiden might become a Rattleshirt's Raiders. Obara might become a Desert Scavenger.

I think you can easily swap ASoS for Rebuilding here. Even though that +1 is nice with Mirri, if you have Dany out she'll already more or less be getting that bonus. I also favor Caleotte over Obara in my build now and I think he is definitely worth a look with some added icon stripping for Mirri.

I made a similar deck (Loyal Martell/Dragon Agenda) and done extensive testing. Max out your reducers to try for that 7/1 start with Mirri Maz Duur or Daenerys Targaryen. I'd drop the Handmaiden's for Maester Caleotte for the icon removal - along with Nymeria you can scape off two or icons before you swing with Mirri for an unopposed challenge. With Dracarys! and Dany for stealth, Syrio Forel is really unnecessary IMHO. Also since you're already swinging for , you could slide in some Crone of Vaes Dothrak to get "jank kills".

As far as the plots, we are right there together except for Trading with the Pentoshi. From my (admittedly limited) play experience, the plot screws it's owner in so many ways. Forget the body slam of your opponent playing Naval Superiority, just giving an aggressive opponent 3 gold they didn't pay for with initiative or claim can be a killer. I've flipped Famine on someone first turn when they played TWP, and they wished they had been "Naval'ed" instead. I do know a lot of people that swear by the (usually) reliable gold output, though, and YMMV.

@Corum89this list is a week old, I've made a few tweaks since including adding Caleotte. Trading is necessary to afford multiple big characters in the same turn. Sometimes even Dany and Mirri. Noble Cause and Calling the Banners don't work here so it's the only option. I haven't run up against Naval Superiority yet
