Hello, I am sharing with u a winning deck of small 22 player tournament taking place in Prague in the end of August. Idea of a deck got to my mind when White Tree and Arry came out. Nice cards for Watch play style. But I dont like common defensive style of NW play. I wanted to try play NW more aggessively. So I picked up only the agrressive NW cards (mainly army Ranging Party and Ghost) and some good utility cards like Ravens and Sam and start think about some banner with many great non-loyal cards. Lannisters were the best pick. I could add many good unique characters to play Treachery (great choke on Kingsroads). Lannisters has also two cheap armies to make plot Muster the Realm playable. This plot has good gold income and reserve value so u can open with two claim. Along with choke u can make a big pressure on your opponent. Another advantage of the deck is that many people dont expect so much agrression and Lannisters in NW deck:)
Tournament:
1st R. Martell Fealty - W
I had a great setup with Tree, Ranging Party, Reducer and Roseroad. Ghost in a hand. I have opened with army plot. Opponent left with two gold for Vengance for Elia. I still wanted to win military cause I had PttS to Red Viper. Vengance killed just two my chuds. Thereafter I still had a board adventage and played next Army plot to clear opponent's board.
2nd R. Stark Fealty - W
Opponent setuped two small chars with Winterfell. I had a medium setup but still able to open with army plot to kill two opponent's chars. Only Rob left on the table. I did not Marched him cause I was affraid Varrys Riddle or another March so I continued preassure with next army plot against Calm over Westeros. I have killed one char to left Rob and Catelyn on the table and Marched one of them. I have used my board advantage to win the game.
3rd R. NW Fealty - W
Opponent setuped bad (Wall, Raven and Veteran Builder) against my agro deck. I again played two army plots (first against Calm) to win the game.
4th R. Bara Fealty - W
We both opened with Summer Harvest (2 golds for both). Great for me cause I had milk for opponent's Littlefinger and Tree with Maegar Contribution to take all gold from opponent. I still could setup two chars thanks to reducer and Bronn. I won the military to left opponent with two chars one of them Marched next round. Next rounds were army plots witch made a game for me alongside with good choke.
5th R. Lanni Sun - W
That was a tough long game thanks to Tywin and Nymeria. And Gregor later on. I killed only small chars but opponent had to defend most of the time so I was able to win power challenges to make a progress to the win. Raven was the crucial card against opponent's Cersei.
6th Top 4 Targ KoS - W
I had a good setup. Opponent had a enough economy to marchall several chars. I had a slight advantage early on thanks to army plots. Thanks to Treachery opponent could not marchall Dany, only Aggo and Drogo. White Tree at fourth plot helped to build bigger advantage. Plots later I marchalled Gregor, Jaime and Ilyn to win the game.
7th Top 2 Bara Fealty - W
I setuped Tree with Tyrion and econ location and had three armies in my hand to open with army plot. I could marchall two of them. One got kneel. Second won the military. Next plot was missplay when I played second army plot and underestimated the power of Bara kneel. Economy plot would be better play. On third plot I have hitted with Varrys Riddle a Filthy Accusations. On fourth plot I have got lot of gold thanks to Summer Harvest hitting A Feast for Crows. Jaime came to play and I started build positon for a final pressure. Next round I played Marched leads to adventage 3:2 chars with Ilyn making 3:1 adventage. Making my way to title.

Yea, Lion fits to NW pretty well cause it adds good high curve characters which NW misses. Aswell can add some other great Lani utilities (Treachery with enough unique Lanni chars). I didn't tried The Wall cause it's too defensive and expensive, not good for that kind of deck. U would need more economy plots switching with Muster the Realm. But like u say ambush would work well with The Wall. U could also fit some Brothel Madames and Lannisport Moneylenders to get more of the choke and gold income aswell int icons for defense. But that would be different kind of deck. |

My version runs 3 Take the black because it's remarkably easy to hit with Tyrion out and it's unexpected (plus can't be Handed because who keeps 3 g at dominance). Anyway I am getting to the conclusion that this is the best iteration of NW for this meta |

I dont see Take the Black as easy to play cause u dont have Tyrion all the time on the table and keeping so much gold until dominance (not using it to marchaling or other events) can be really hurtfull. And still often u will not find good target for it. Maybe one copy can be used. |

Yep, I decided to completely drop it. Went for a quite similar list with yours and managed to 5-0 a local tourney. You can check it in the NW group of decklists under the name 'Muster the Watch'. |
Great idea with Muster the realm. Love it.
From my point of view, Lion Banner is the best NW option for now. KoW isn't reliable due to lots of Summer running around and Fealty doesn't really add anything apart from getting free ravens. By the way, have you tried the Wall in this? Given Ambush, you can easily defend everything and still get to attack. But I do see that you are trying to push the advantage with Muster and armies not defending but attacking.
