This deck I brought to the First Player store championship in Varberg. First draft, untested and all that. I brought a lot of goodies in hope that someone would let me get a free win. I tried to bribe, threaten and insult my way to some wins. without any success.

However the deck was quite successful and enjoyable to play.

I wanted to create a deck that was a bit new, trying some new strategies and just having fun playing.

The principle of the deck is resetting the board, often, both location and characters, using those annoying little icon stripping attachment for control and getting some challenges through and win.

Martell is currently one of the most underperforming houses at the moment, my humble theory is that a lot of Martell players havenĀ“t adapted to the passive power gain deck type that is prevalent in the current meta.

So I created this deck with a few simple synergies and strategies in mind: Threaten the character on the board and in hand. Mainly through a few cards The Harrenhal (GoH) is very powerful, but add in Ghaston Grey, His Viper Eyes and Heads on Spikes the opponent has to take a gamble on what to play and when to play his key characters.

Where there is not any real key characters in this deck other than Varys, that need to be protected and knowing when to play him and trigger him is crucial for the deck to succeed.

Other than that there are cards, which force your opponent to reconsider his game plan at all time; Roose Bolton, Nymeria Sand, Jaqen H'ghar, Tyene Sand and the humble Spearmaiden.

The deck need refinement for sure and I want to thanks Jakob Hultman, Samuel Linde and WWDrakey for advice and encouragement.

Tourney report will be updated later.
