To be honest..this deck doesnt look like a top contender (interesting choice of number of copies) then again, there are 3cards Ive never seen in action from the chapter packs :) How did the hound and cerseis wheelhouse do? How many times did you find use for Varys? I’m pushing a Lannister control deck thronesdb.com and would love your opinion!

I want more of certain cards, but 61 is the number. Rattleshirt were money. Varys is great, and Seal wins games. A second Arbor Knight can come out for one I guess. They were good all day and won some challenges with that surprise pump. Wheelhouse was solid in the 2 games I saw it. Dead vs. GJ, but whatever. Varys was only used once, though he was a backup plan in another game. I needed a kill event for a dupe in one game before I could use him.

The Hound is one of the best cards in the game, period. This is only my third or so favorite Lannister build, but the vote said to play it!

Congratulations on your performance. Pray tell, how does this deck fare vs Bara kneel? I’m talking about the real thing here, not Banner of the Stag builds. Is the Seal enough? I see that only three Baratheon builds were present at the event and only one of them was Fealty. In your opinion, had the Baratheon presence been stronger, would you still have come out on top?

I played Lannister Wolf at our Launch tournament against three really good Bara Fealty decks. I went 2-1 and should have went 3-0 but for one dumb dumb play and a really awkward set up. Given this has more stand than that, Bara was not a particular concern, no.

What about the Milks? I remember you claiming that you no longer use them. Generally, the latest trend is their omission in most competent decks. Did you include them mainly to lure enemy Confiscations and leave your Seals undisturbed? Did they pay off?

Love this build. Lannister is just so strong as a main house.

Milk is needed for the time being to help answer GJ. I don’t really care for them in any other match up. They’re nice to have, but basically immediate Confiscation targets. I didn’t lose a Seal all day, but lost several milks. That’s a trade I’d make in a heartbeat.

The real question: how many times did you get the dream team (left and right) going?

Speaking as the pilot of the deck that PulseGlazer beat (more accurately, demolished) in the finals, I can attest that Left and Right took the field together at least once. ; )

Ha Left and Right were your enemies all day. You got them round 1, too. I saw them in my win against Sandy and loss against Jon, so 4x. If I see one, I’m not above Summons to see if I get the other (assuming I have enough of my major characters).

I feel the same way in my Tyrell Fealty, Wamma would be so disappointed…

@Kakita_Shiro 3x Marg n Wail synergize best with Randyll. His stand is a huge threat.

I really want to place The Things I do for Love in this deck as you mentioned on the cast (and because I love it) but can’t figure out where to sneak it in. Normally I’d drop to 1xWail but the synergy mentioned above makes a strong case for 2. Any suggestions on cards to start testing as a drop for TTIDFL?

@Truthforger -1 arbor knight, -1 wheel house. Both are good, neither are needed. I super hate cutting set up like that, but those are the last adds.

Have you considered running Olenna’s Informant? Why did you decide not to include her? Why play one Cersei and one Pycelle?
