Rules FAQ

  • Gared will kneel the faction cards before the When Revealed abilities of plots like Valar Morghulis, Valar Dohaeris or Ghosts of Harrenhal resolve. If an opponent reveals Outwit at the same time, their faction card will be knelt before Outwit could be used.

  • Gared triggers before the new plots become revealed. If Fortified Position was revealed before, Gared will still be blank and will not be able to trigger. On the other hand, if Fortified Position is one of the “new” plots, Gared will trigger before it becomes active and blanks him.

  • Gared’s ability has no limit. If more than one player reveals an Omen plot card and Gared’s ability is cancelled (by Begging Brother, for instance), you can trigger him again for the other Omen plot.
