Rules FAQ

  • You can cancel reactions to winning a challenge even if the triggering condition is more specific (for instance, winning an unopposed challenge, or winning by 5 or more STR). You cannot cancel reactions to losing a challenge, such as Dorne or Ghaston Grey.

  • You can cancel a forced reaction on a card an opponent controls (for instance, The Hound (TtB)).

  • You can cancel a reaction on a plot or agenda card (for instance, A Clash of Kings or "The Rains of Castamere"). You cannot cancel Trading With Qohor or Battle of the Trident, because those are not reactions to winning a challenge.
