This deck went undefeated until the final table at our SC winning games against Tyrell, Lannister, Baratheon, before finally succumbing to Greyjoy.

Every plot causes some kind of problem for your opponent. I decided to post the version I actually played instead of the version I'd play now.

Going forward, I'd drop Jon Snow and Old Bear for Milk of the Poppy x2. I'd also swap Longclaw for either King Robert's Warhammer (because 1 more kneel is probably more important in this deck than renown) or a 3rd copy of The Iron Throne (in the final I had Chamber of the Painted Table but not the throne. This let my opponent prioritize winning dom over winning more challenges and slowed me significantly.)

With those changes, this deck is very competitive against a lot of stuff in the meta and has some match-ups where it's favored heavily.

Grats on getting 2nd. I really like the mechanics, so i piloted it in my local gnk but unfortunately didnt do well (maybe because of lack of practice and expertise in piloting this deck).

Few points I have encountered were when Melisandre gets milked (no answers to that) so the kneeling defensive mechanisim is gone. The other is Greyjoy answers to this deck (stealth, location removers/kneeling).

I really think Maester Cressen is essential or Rattleshirt's Raiders to remove Milk of the Poppy. Other card i may consider is Building Orders plot card to dig deeper for location cards needed. Lastly, maybe a single or a couple of Varys for board wipes when things gets nasty.

Those are good points @Daigelmir. If I could have removed the Milk on Mel in the final I probably would have been able to extend the game for 2 more turns which might have been enough to pull out the win.

I think Maester Cressen could work in this deck. If I really want on-demand Milk removal, it would require Here to Serve. Which plot would you swap for it?

I don't think Rattleshirt's Raiders are the answer as I generally don't focus on winning challenges and MIL is probably the least important icon for me.

This is the first NW deck I've played without Building Orders. I cut if for Calm as the deck doesn't need every great location in this deck as long as it finds more than one: The Iron Throne+Chamber of the Painted Table are basically the 2 power a turn you want much like The Wall + (Castle Black. All 4 are great, but I only saw that in 1 game.

Part of the reason I suggested dropping Jon and Old Bear for Milks is that the economy of the deck rarely let's you play them. When you have 6-7 money, you almost always want to play a location and a mid cost character instead. So I feel Varys is too expensive for these plots even though he is great for blocking INT challenges. If I was adding another character, I'd probably want the stealth from Syrio Forel especially if Benjen is off the board.
