EDIT:

minus 1 Chamber of the Painted Table

minus 1 The Red Keep

plus 2 Support of the People

Well hello boys and girls (I guess mainly boys but nevertheless welcome to all you girls out there :D ).

This is my first published decklist and I hope that you like it. I didn't look up all the recent decklists but I hope that I'm not copying stuff.

Let's get into this deck:

This deck is all about winning Dominance, largely initiating -challenges and keeping the opponents deck from working.

  1. Winning Dominance
  2. Playing defensively
  3. -challenges
  4. Messing up your opponent's deck
  5. Plot deck

1. Winning Dominance

You can win a lot of power by winning Dominance using this deck. Using The Iron Throne, Fiery Followers and Gendry should already gain you two power each round (Gendry may not be that useful in early game, so I only use two copies in this deck). Using the Chamber of the Painted Tablein mid game will gain you even one more power by winning Dominance and simultaneously weaken your opponent. You can also use the gold from Tyrion Lannister's effect if you didn't play any event or ambush cards. Being strong in the Dominance department you may play A Feast for Crows to gain up to five power only by winning Dominance.

2. Playing defensively

For winning Dominance you may want play defensively. This deck uses a very balanced spectrum of challenge icons so you should be able to defend most of the challenges initiated against you or at least not let them pass unupposed. You may use Selyse Baratheon's effect or Little Birds to protect Robert Baratheon and Gendry from Tears of Lys and (mostly if you are the first player) In the Name of Your King! to prevent -challenges and having your opponents characters knelt for a total of one gold. After Dominance you may also use your not needed gold to boost Red Cloaks for -challenges. There are a lot of expensive characters in this deck, so you may use Calling the Banners at the right time instead of a more agressive Plot.

3. -challenges

Power wins the game and you mostly earn power by winning Dominance, winning unupposed challenges and of course winning -challenges. This deck is not much into winning unupposed challenges so you want to win -challenges and you definitely can! All the "big chars" do have a -icon and don't forget Robert Baratheon's effects and renown. Combined with The Red Keep and Superior Claim you should be able to earn lots of Power. And don't forget that Superior Claim and renown also work while you are defending. Feeling strong in the -department you may use A Clash of Kings to be first player and end the game.

4. Messing up your opponent's deck

Your opponent can only win the game, if his deck works. So let's prevent this! As you can see, all the events and ambush attachments are quite cheap, so you should be able to play them at least by using Tyrion Lannister's effect. As you can see, this deck is very keen on kneeling the opponent's characters. Melisandre combined with a total of seven other R'hllor cards, using Filthy Accusations two times out of seven and Paid Off should do the job. Using Seen In Flames will also give you the opportunity to view your opponents cards and delete his strategy during a challenge. At last there are three copies of The Hand's Judgment in this deck to cancel any event if necessary.

5. Plot deck

I have not mentioned Building Orders and Here to Serve jet. Building Orders shall give you the opportunity to mostly search for locations you need for Dominance or maybe even for a The Kingsroad, if you have multiple expensive characters in hand and you have already used Calling the Banners. Here to Serve is a kind of starting Plot to have Maester Cressen on the board early on to prevent Milk of the Poppy on one of your "big chars". I only use him once because of this Plot. The main problem about this is, that you must not draw him before the first round begins. Otherwise you wasted a Plot slot. This might be kind of an issue :D

Well I hope you had fun reading the discription and please let me hear your opinion in the comment section!

+2 Support of the People –1 The Red Keep –1 Chamber of the Painted Table (–1 The Iron Throne)

Assuming that (1) You have no problem winning Power challenges and (2) you wisely avoid setting up Red Keep or COTPT, this would increase the virtual number of each of these locations to 3, save money by circumventing marshaling cost, and free up 1 spot for another card (like Street of Sisters, which might work well).

@chriswhite that's right. It would also give me the opportunity to decide which of the locations fits the situation the best. I will edit that. Thank you!
