This a test deck in order to learn the interaction between Martell control and retaliation themes with Baratheon kneel and now the developing discard tech. Have no glue how the deck is going to be built so my plan is to test it and iterate from my failures. So if you have anything to add, comments or want to point out obviously idiotic choice, please feel free to comment.
Win condition: Grind out a win!! (Yeah I know it's stupid and probably the weakest win condition there is, but with the kneel control of the Stag banner, Ghaston Grey, His Viper Eyes and sometimes even Sunspear. I hope to make the opponent pay dearly for most challenges that they might make)
Basic concept:
Empty the hand and gain knowledge tech: With cards like His Viper Eyes and Seen In Flames I can gain knowledge of what to expect in my opponent hand and play. Wether I should follow-up with a Heads on Spikes to kill that crucial character that was bounced back by Ghaston Grey.
The new Motley helps with emptying the hand faster than expected, but becomes quite useless when the opponent hand is empty. But that is something I think is worth testing out.
Wildfire Assault is in the deck for allowing to kill poor Quentyn Martell when I need to kill a specific target, hopefully Doran Martell or Dawn is there to boost his strength to target some high value character. Other targets for Wildfire are Shireen Baratheon, Bastard Daughter and The Red Viper.
So yeah that is the gameplan, empty the opponents hand as fast as possible, control opponents character with kneel effect and icon stripping Nymeria Sand and Maester Caleotte.
Well I am sure that the deck need a lot of refinement and iteration before it becomes competitive and reliable enough to take to a tournament.
