Took this to my first ever tournament, I play on OCTGN a fair bit (OCTGN ID = MariosRizlasWet) but I've had very limited 'table time'.

Game 1 vs Matt - Targ Fealty : Win

I played someone even newer than me, I think this was Matt’s 5th or 6th game. I set-up with Melisandre and some reducers, drew Stannis Baratheon and Lightbringer and played them out. Matt never saw any Dracarys! to threaten Melisandre, he bluffed by leaving a gold in his pool but I always had a The Hand's Judgment in hand. Daenerys Targaryen spent the game knelt, Matt just never got going once Filthy Accusations/Even-Handed Justice/Fiery Followers were producing 2-3 kneels per turn.

Game 2 vs Adam – Bara Fealty : Loss

Another noob, and another top guy; despite this being a kneel-off it never felt boring – frustrating maybe but that’s what can do! We both got Melisandre going early, but Adam leant into his kneel events way before I did, I had Robert Baratheon & Stannis Baratheon but couldn’t draw Seal of the Hand to get the stood up!

Adam played his kneel events far more smartly than I did, and gave a taste of being on the receiving of a the 'Kneelty'...

Game 3 vs Savvy – Targ/Lion /: Win

I didn’t have high hopes for this one, Savvy is a lot more experienced than me, and was running a lethal Mirri Maz Duur/Khal Drogo/Syrio Forel/Ser Gregor Clegane killing deck which had a LOT of scalps all day (he’d killed Tywin Lannister, Tyrion Lannister and Ser Jaime Lannister in a turn earlier with Mirri, a Put to the Sword and a good pillage). He set up with Mirri, fortunately I drew Mel and Mirri spent the entire game knelt, apart from late on when Magister Illyrio paid for her to stand but I won the challenge she made. This game was the longest of the day, Savvy was ducking and weaving like a master in his efforts to get his Mountain and Mirri to bear, fortunately for me my Rhollor and kneel events kept a steady appearance in my hand and I managed to see it through, an Iron Throne and dupes on Stannis Baratheon and Theon Greyjoy convincing Savvy to call it around 13-8 in terms of Power.

Result: 2nd! Couldn’t have been happier with 2nd and my Tyrion Alt-Art, especially as I squeaked past the overall winner in Rd 3.

Changes: Not too drastic I don’t think, I hardly saw any Greyjoy characters all game, Maester Wendamyr and Theon helped in the final game by providing some very handy stealth to help me control who could particapate in Power challenges but other than that the Banner was almost inconsequential to the day.

I made some jarring mistakes, mostly I knew when I had but lots of learning and reducing errors to go.

Thanks to all at Element Games (http://elementgames.co.uk) near Manchester for hosting the event, and of course to all my opponents and other players for making the day such a success.

No Iron Mines = blasphemy. <3 BaraKrak though...

lol Correct! My 'Calm' chapter pack didn't arrive in time for the tourney day, Iron Mines is most definitely going into the next iteration of this build.
