The idea of the deck is to use Tower of the Hand as board removal coupled with Hear Me Roar! and I Never Bet Against My Family to fuel the engine. The Tower puts the character back into your hand, so you can pay to put it into play next turn after "renting" it for a challenges phase to bounce an expensive character.
A few thoughts on card choices:
Summons, Shadowblack Lane, and Support of the People are in to fish for missing pieces of the puzzle toolbox style.
You want to see some combination of Tywin, Tyrion, Cersei, or Jaime and the Tower of the Hand early in the game. Use your big characters with intrigue icons to bounce their big people, and then intrigue them away with a second intrigue challenge or use Seen In Flames to snipe them.
Couple Trading with the Pentoshi with The Things I Do For Love to dodge their expensive people and then Heads on Spikes if you miss with intrigue.
The First Snow of Winter bounces back 7 characters with entering play effects or ambush (Fiery Followers, The Hound and The Queen's Assassin), so you can intentionally hit yourself a bit to be a bit of a troll.
Wishlist:
Milk of the Poppy was the last thing I cut, and I'll probably need to put it back in, space is just tight. I'm currently trying not to run Confiscation or other attachment hate except Maester Cressen because my most valuable people can be bounced back to hand if they get milked.
I'm testing Syrio Forel, but like the idea of stealthing intrigues that are tight. I'm not committed to Ser Davos Seaworth or Gendry yet, but don't know what I'd switch them for. I'll wait for another R'hllor card probably.
I'd love to hear thoughts. I'm still new to GoT, but a long time CCG player (L5R).
