You don't need many "The Seven" characters, just the neessary to trigger the agenda. So if you have Catelyn Stark (WotN) it's all good, otherwise you have six other cards with Begging Brother and Septa Mordane. I would be willing to put more "The Seven" characters if they were basically competitiive (it's not really the case...).
-
Catelyn Stark (WotN) is the main character. She is kind of your second House Card and thus Bodyguard + Jory Cassel x3. I have to check if Jory protect from Valar Morghulis, I would say yes.
-
Ser Edmure Tully is a vital character in this metagame of powergrab and can feed Catelyn, thus x3.
-
Sansa Stark (Core) and Riverrun are additional powergrab, allowing to lift agenda's drawback.
-
Summer (Core) is not a good card, but he draws and the deck needs it. Plus you can sacrifice it at Fallen from Favor to replay him. Similarly, I added Gates of Winterfell x3 to improve the draw aspect of the deck.
-
Marriage Pact and Milk of the Poppy are aimed at messing your opponent plans by removing is key cards. It allows you to win time at worst. At best, it paralyzes him and he cannot make much.
- Winterfell because with the increased economy it became easier to pay him while the effect remains huge ("The Rains of Castamere", for example).
I’ve played it a few times at this point. It’s solid, but is entirely too reliant on Cat to win games. With very few card draw options, you’re often unable to dig for her either if Summons misses, besides the problem of constantly just top deck starting from the mid to late game. Feels like you really want Flea Bottom to act as pseudo draw in this deck, and maybe the High Sparrow to prevent an opponent from just running you over before you can get Cat up and running.
