Kaiu Builder 52
1st place finish undefeated at OMG! Games GNK in Barrie, ON. 2016-06-18
This is the deck I used to go undefeated at a recent GNK. This is pretty much arch-typical Stark Fealty at this point. While not contentious in the card choices I find that this has a good balance between the various options different iterations of Stark Fealty have. Many iterations run very light on attachment control, but the Rattleshirt's Raiders is important for the mirror match as well as not allowing Martell to run away with the icon stripping. And of course Eddie and Robb love their Milk, so keep their habits under control.
Although having both Building Orders and Summons reduce your average gold and initiative in your plot deck being able to on-demand find Winterfell in its priority matches (basically any deck that has high impact challenge triggers like Mirri, Tyene, or Tears of Lys) is very powerful. As is finding the right characters, sometimes even you just need to ensure you get a body any body on the board for claim. Summons is also very important in the mirror match to ensure you get to Robb Stark first.
I'm not too enamoured on Riverrun Minstrel but they are a four cost body (that importantly brings an intrigue icon to the table) which gives the deck resiliency to The First Snow of Winter. Stark like to play a horizontal game and have a spread of great characters in the three cost and under slots. Making sure you can maintain a board presence after everything bounces to hand is important in surviving those turns, and this is a four coster I'm not too fussed to claim if need be. If they can accelerate The Blackfish, then that's a nice bonus when I can get it.
I've seen a lot of people go back and forth between core Sansa Stark and new Sansa Stark, but for me two cost, loyal (very important with Fealty), with that strength that doesn't sacrifice tempo by coming into play knelt is perfect for the deck. Once you get Septa Mordane and Winterfell she becomes a power generating beast. Add stealth and military icon from a Syrio Forel (plus Lady for kicks) and opponent's have a hard time with her. Due to her susceptibility to The First Snow of Winter and Ser Ilyn Payne having three copies to quickly dupe is critical if you're going to be trying to generate any lasting power with her.
Maybe the most uncommon include is Nightmares. In addition to three Milk of the Poppy this just provides further character control, but also adds location control for matchups where that matters. While it's not a permanent solution to whatever problem card your opponent has, it gives you enough time to find a way to deal with it, or just remove a problematic ability for that one critical turn that might be all you need.
