Ekinox 2

Hello there !

I am submitting this deck in way to improve it. It went 9th on a 31 player Store Championship in France. I am pretty convinced this deck has a great potential, but i am a terrible player. ^^ By the way, i apologizes for all my grammar mistakes. I link here the jousting report of the tournament: Jousting

Here is a little report about how it goes during the tournament, then i'ld explain some of my choices of cards.

Round 1: Tyrell Banner of the Wolf - W

My opponent had a pretty bad start, set uping low cost characters, and the mvp of this game was surely Grey Wind and robb. Grey wind allows me to control his board and mine. Many targetting kills on his Bran, Sansa, and other low strengh Tyrell knights. Robb took many powers, and i controled easily the game. Was kind of free game. But a good experience for both of us.

Round 2: Stark Banner of the Wolf - W

An other rush power deck. Actualy, the game went to the 6th turn of plot. My only goal was to control the game. My opponent had Blackfish, Catelyn, Margaery and some other good characters. No real Mvp here, the game turned on a victory after Grey wind and Nymeria intimidate two of his characters.

Round 3: Baratheon Kings of Summer - L

Real bad game for me. Eddard came to say hello on turn 4th but robb, Jon and Seal of the Hand didn't show. My opponent played the New Stannis he had on turn 1 with his Robert. All of his deck was concentrated on power challenges and Dominance. Couldn't Respond to his power: Iron Throne + Chamber of the Painted Table. He won easily. Great player on a great deck.

Round 4: Baratheon Banner of the Kraken - L

Both of us had a bad Start. Game ends when he top deck some of his main characters while i only saw Robb and Catelyn. No regrets on this game.

Round 5: Baratheon Fealty - W

My opponent played a kneeling deck. Robb and Grey wind came on the board very soon, as Rodrik who allowed me to over draw. Frozen Solid freezed his Red Kepp, Fear Cuts Deeper Than Swords countered 2 times Melisandre on recruiting phase, and Eddard grabbed the 15 powers with robb on turn 4th.

I missed the Top at 0.06 resistance points.

All the Deck was built to control the opponent triggered effects (Lannisters/Targaryen) and standing in front of Baratheons. Point on which i was really unlucky during the turnament. ;) Fear, Winterfell, Catelyn, Bran were the core build. Bodyguard are in the decklist because in our meta, Valar Morghulis is omnipresent. I never play tested Nymeria, and after her short apparition, i defnitly find her very fun. And i will search further for her potential.

Fell free to comment below your adjustments or any ideas you could get ! :)

Best regards !
