Sylventhe 1
This deck comes from someone with zero tournament experience, and very minimal deck-building experience. Tweaks and ideas welcome.
Idea behind this deck is to keep your opponent from keeping characters on the table.
Plot Deck
- A Noble Cause: Used to put out the higher-powered lords like Robb Stark and Eddard Stark.
- Summons: Use this to go find one of the lords.
- Rebuilding: Use this to get Winter Is Coming back into your deck.
- A Storm of Swords: use this when you have enough to perform two challenges, hopefully winning one or both to kill a character.
- The Winds of Winter: when you have the character advantage, use this to decimate your opponent, preferably by a well-timed Winter Is Coming or For the North! to up attacking strength.
- Muster the Realm: This is for use with Vanguard of the North and Wildling Horde, which have the "Army" keyword, raising the claim value to 2 when attacking.
General Description
This is based on being able to raise the claim value with plots by combining Muster the Realm with they keyword "Army" from Vanguard of the North and Wildling Horde. Further, The Winds of Winter is a straight-up 2-claim plot card, which can be boosted higher with Winter Is Coming events played at the right time.
Like Warm Rain can help to remove key high-strength characters, as well as Winterfell Castle to boost their strength. Eddard Stark provides a standable defense, with Little Bird allowing him to become a tri-con. Tumblestone Knight and Winterfell Steward provide fodder for Robb Stark's ability to stand everyone.
Weaknesses
This deck is low on icons, which is why Little Bird is included. LB is intended for Eddard Stark, to make him a tri-con who stands anytime you need defense. Catelyn Stark, Maester Luwin, and Sansa Stark also provide icons.
