JinTMDYan 2
This deck is built around the Heads on Spikes card.
As everyone knows, this plot offers tremendous benefits, with its only drawback being inconsistency.
This deck focuses on solving that issue by enhancing the following two aspects:
-
(Selective) discard components to reduce non-character cards in the opponent's hand: Bastard Daughter, Queen's Men, Red Priest, and His Viper Eyes.
-
"Return to its owner's hand" components to increase the number of character cards in the opponent's hand: First Snow, Dorea Sand, Ghaston Grey (occasionally, it can also be combined with Caggo for direct removal).
The remaining components:
-
Board clears: In addition to the traditional Valar Morghulis and the "The Last of the Giants" + Varys/Jaqen/Lysa/Mag system, you can also use Renly (FotS) + double Water Dancer's Sword to directly summon the aforementioned creatures.
-
Power control: Obella Sand and Vanguard Lancer. Thanks to Delena, Obella can frequently enter the hand or the field (but be wary of the opponent's non-combat kills). Orphan of the Greenblood and "On a Misty Morn" can also increase frequency, prioritizing returning these low-cost cards to hand.
-
Search: Meadowlark paired with Behest can pull out a 3-cost character on the second turn. Delena can fetch Obella, Dorea, Bastard Daughters, while Renly can pull out almost every non-Stag characters in this deck. Additionally, Delena can also work with Melisandre and her R'hllor followers to kneel the opponent's characters, serving as a minor control tool.
-
Card draw: Greenblood Trader is overly OP and can also be summoned by Meadowlark, Renly, etc., or returned to hand by Orphan of the Greenblood and "On a Misty Morn". For the plot, I chose City of Secrets over Counting Coppers, partly for economy and partly because I have many discard components, making the downside of giving the opponent cards minimal (or even beneficial).
-
Winning: Primarily relies on The Iron Throne and Chamber to passively gain power.
At last, I’m a newcomer to AGOT, having just joined this January. Special thanks to the guru DanielUru for his guidance and many deck-building advices. If you have any questions, go ask him :)
