2nd at Canberra regional,

Take aways, Sunspear was a dead card, The Boneway never got to trigger 6 tokens or couldn't afford the tempo hit to play it, possibly because of the you saw it latter due to 1 being a 1 off. Also His Viper Eyes could go down to 2 to make room from something else. Vengeance for Elia(red vengeance) Was money all day.

Plots

Wildfire Assault](/card/01026), would be quite helpful for the hard stark matchup, all the plots where good. Calling the Banners or Counting Coppers are the only ones that might need to replaceable for Wildfire Assault. On average Calling the Bannersbanner is a 5 to 6 gold. so loose 2'ish gold if swapped to Wildfire Assault and 1 higher init

Doran Martell, was a good card the draw and the bonus str actually mattered every game i got him out. will be even better when Harmen Uller comes out

Would like to test out Tower of the Sun and [Put to the Torch]/Pyromancers(/card/01042) for the stark match-up as Arianne Martell can drop it in the dom phase

THe kingsmoot version, had wildfire instead of banners, which was a good swap, i tried out tower of the sun, wasnt impressed, also dropped a viper eyes for a 2nd milk, actually missed the 3rd vipers eyes, that card is so flexible

How would you adjust with Across the Seven Kingdoms release?

talism 88

the version i played for the kings moot at -1 palace guard and +1 harmon, - sunspear and bonway + 1 milk.

the biggest changes will come with the next pack. getting to many good cards, i feel that i want to cut some one the unquies down and add starfall cavalry so i can drop counting copper, also try out a VB

Great score - I have three questions as I'm working on my own fealty-deck:

  1. Do you find Knights of the Sun more usefull than Palace Spearmen or it is best to keep the balance between them in the deck?
  2. Do you think you could remove first snow for wildfire?
  3. Did you think about 1 or 2 copies of Doran's Game just to increase power grab? Also - Did Harmen Uller was good enought or simply another copy of Doran would be better, as he is loyal so cheper in fealty decks?

I love the deck. It is very similar to one I am running as my main deck, pretty much the same choices bar the number of cards per choice. I would ditch Sunspear and Boneway and pick up another Nightmares (The key of that card being location control, though limited) Maybe get a Doran's Game or two in there and...just personal preference, but I'm running 2X Heads on Spikes, and I've been destroying Stark decks with it left and right. It's very easy to get most of Stark's people back in hand with First Snow, then take a dump on them with a Heads on Spikes. And you'll beat the tar out of them with intrigue, turning their hands into a very limited affair they cant seem to recoup from.

Gold star deck. I do not like Harmen that much, my issue with him is for his cost he does not impact the board as much as you think. I think he's overrated mainly due to the fact that 1.) You pay for him up front. His ability while a cool and clever cost reduction is reducing: 1 Tyene, already better off having her on the board and she's loyal. Nymeria. Maybe a good drop here, but most of the time I find getting her out on the table in setup or turn one is MUCH better. and then the Bastard Daughters, which do combo with Harmen quite well...but....eh only for Military, meanwhile Nymeria could have gave them other icons? Too much of a wind-up jank card that may be better with more sand snakes released later.

Again a great deck! I think i'm going to move my character spread to yours!

@Krisso

  1. Knights of the Sun are integral to the deck, there renown helps you win/close out games. Palace Spearman will be chopped for other cards over time. I cut one for Harmen Ullerbut am already thinking about swapping it back
  2. I've cut Calling the Banners to swap in a Wildfire Assault, as most of the time your only getting 2 gold for it. and the Wildfire Assaulthelps way more especially vs stark.
  3. Harmen Uller is there for the renown. although his ability i can only ever see using it (in this build) to replay a basted daughter on a first snow turn on the rare chance the stars align. More then likly he will go for a Maester of Starfall when they come out.

@Granville7482i have already cut Sunspear and The Boneway, are already gone, i dont like [Doran's Game] (/card/01119), just my personal preference. As to Harmen Uller see above.

I can wait for Starfall Cavalry and Venomous Blade. Hopefully the Starfall Cavalry let me drop Counting Coppers to open a plot slot(since they are the best slots in the game)

Believe it or not, I would cut Long Plan. While it's got a nice reserve of 8, it really is not impacting the board all that much. It has it's moments, ("Didn't have enough Gold for Elia, now I do") or...you could've just played a higher gold plot with better initiative Go with what most Greyjoy players have done and ditch the House specific plot for all those nasty common pool ones.

Currently I'm running First Snow, 2X Heads on Spikes, Marched to the Wall, Confiscation, Wildfire and Counting Copper, which seems to be a nesscary evil. I've got 2X Littlefinger in the deck as well, debating Varys instead.

Venomous Blade....yeah I think i'll have to find room for at least one copy. But after that card hits dare I say it might be worth 3 for early game economy hits, especially to Lannister. I have to thnk more on it before I can really make up my mind.

Starfall Cav. Thank you, now I can get Littlefinger out of my deck, for a card im not afraid to lose as claim, and cant have nasty attachments put on it. Awesome! (Though I will miss the +1 Gold)

Now if we can just get rid of Counting Coppers. I'm doing a bit of testing with Vary's Riddle today, let you know how it goes (Mainly seeing how often I can predict my opponent is going to play Counting Coppers, then playing the Riddle, or seeing if I can play the riddle...sometimes I just wanna Heads on Spikes a guy!)

@Granville7482 The Long Plan. Makes your The First Snow of Winter or The First Snow of Winter a better turn having 5 gold or more on a snow/counting turn is huge

Also Heads on Spikes is a BAD card. Plot slots are to important to waste on that card. The interaction with Ghaston Grey is ok but so many better options.

talism 88

Forgot to add i think Varys's Riddle will replace snowed under as tour opener

No way. First turn you First Snow. Welcome to watching time and time again, despite players knowing better, an economic win for you. Put your Desert Scavenger down on set up, put economic cards down, put down Palace Spearmen, Ghaston or Quentyn Martell, or a Nymeria with a dupe and screw up 9 out of 10 of your opponents first turns with icon removal attachments. Then watch your opponent put his flip back in his hand. Then you Heads on Spikes and you Heads on Spikes again. Welcome to most matchups being PISSED they just lost a key personality to the dead pile. Standard 4 Gold, High initiative, 2 Power for you...or a card, at least. Welcome to choked decks who failed to load up card draw. You get bonus points if you nail Cat Stark, who really craps on Martell. If you see the flop and it has nothing to First Snow, don't do it. Wait a turn and Heads on Spikes your first turn. Same thing. Go ahead and do the Greenblood Traders, snow them and play them again.

Varys's Riddle. I played a Martell Fealty deck vs a Martell Fealty deck tonight and managed to hit The Long Plan.... that won me the game and cracked me up. Then I played Greyjoy Fealty and Used Varys's Riddle on a Summons.... Still laughing about that one. However, both times I assumed I was going to nail Counting Coppers, so....
