This is a deck I piloted to second place in a small tournament. It's a lot of fun and puts a ridiculous amount of pressure on your opponent to keep up.

The idea of the deck is to burn anyone with bodyguards or dupes and Valar Morghulis the rest. Counting Coppers, Insight from Daenerys Targaryen and Doreah along with Fire and Blood will hopefullly allow us to recover faster than our opponent.

The second part of the deck is the event engine. Dracarys!, Blood Magic Ritual and Fire and Blood are all very powerful events that can be paid for by Fealty. Isle of Ravens, Shadowblack Lane and Pyat Pree all support getting the event you need, when you need it and works as a secondary draw engine. Getting 6+ saves to preserve your board while literally burning through your opponent's board is a lot of fun. The recursion also lets you burn characters sub-optimally, since you can easily get it back. This mindf*cks your opponent pretty hard.

The cost curve of the deck is low to so you aren't hosed if you don't see Beggar King. The two Summer Harvest are for when you see Daenerys Targaryen and Mirri Maz Duur. Unexpected Delay is when you see a Tywin Lannister (Core) or other bomb character across the table on set-up. When that doesn't work, it also works as a stall turn where they can't play a bomb. If you do bounce Tywin Lannister (Core) be sure to follow that up with Naval Superiority, since you can probably be certain that A Noble Cause or Trading with the Pentoshi is coming up to get him back on the board and if you hit that, you've probably won. Blood of the Dragon nukes chuds and leads to unopposed challenges.

I think others have made similar decks but I haven't seen them so I thought I would post this one up. Any comments are appreciated!

Deck is really good fun, thanks. Any updates for subsequent sets, I assume Slaver's Bay Port is straight in - replaces Kingsroad?

Thanks, I still quite like it. I've been making pretty significant changes to it, primarily due to Slaver's Bay Port, which really increases the economy of the deck. I've upped the cost curve. I'm not sure I've changed it for the better, so please let me know what you think.

Plot changes:

Summer Harvest can end up short of the gold I need to play one of the big girls, which really sucks and one of my meta suggested Building Orders to help find Crown of Gold or at worst, an economy card. It's a nice opener if I don't have the economy going right away.

Counting Coppers is just better than Unexpected Delay for recovering after a Valar and always keeping the opponent worried about Dracarys!.

Deck Changes

Rationale: Ditching Vaes Tolorro and swapping Viserys Targaryen (Core) was a no-brainer as it never really helped that much.

Ghiscari Elite replaces Isle of Ravens and provides a nice big body to boot.

Magister Illyrio basically replaced Mirri Maz Duur, which I'm not sure is actually an upgrade. I'm testing it out. I'll probably end up putting at least one Mirri back in.

Ser Jorah Mormont was quite a good card but drawing copies when he is dead is annoying. but can probably be mitigated by being more aggressive using Fire and Blood.

Shadowblack Lane is a key card and needs to be put up to 3 copies.

Slaver's Bay Port completely changes the economy profile of this deck and was the motivation to try Magister Illyrio and use the extra money the deck generated.

I'm completely convinced about the plot changes but I'm not sold on the deck changes. It needs a bit more testing. Please let me know if you have any feedback!
