With this deck I went undefeated in a Winter Kit tournament (2/28) and finished 2nd before the Top 4 cut at Trotta's Hobbies Store Championship in Barnegat NJ. Both had a really nice group of players and all were fun to play against.

This is the 3rd time taking Targ Sun to a tournament. It is definitely my favorite combo so far. Also won a tournament with it right before Taking the Black was released, which should be linked to this deck if I published it right.

Winter Tournament - I won vs Stark Lanni, Lanni Sun and NW Fealty.

Store Championship -

Round 1: vs Win vs Bara Rose
is probably the most annoying faction to play against for me once they get The Red Keep out its pretty difficult for me to have fun with Plaza. My opponent just so happened to setup a Red Keep. Luckily Nymeria got on the board early and I was able to shut down the Red Keep all game, except for Round 1 where I forgot that +1 Str on the pesky Hedge Knight. I was able to burn down The Knight of Flowers and grind to a Win.

Round 2: Win vs Tyrell Crossing
Rush is also a little bit of a problem and this Tyrell X deck is the fastest I've seen in 2.0. He didn't get off to the best start but by round 2 he had KoF, Hedge Knight with a bunch of on them and Margaery Tyrell out but I kept his hand real low. I Crown of Gold his Marg and Nymeria prevented him doing 3 challenges. With Plaza eating through the little dudes and a Dracarys! hitting Randyll Tarly, in I think plot 4 he was left in a checkmate with just KoF on the board and we shook hands.

Round 3: Loss vs Greyjoy Fealty
This wasn't that great of a game. He set up The Seastone Chair chair and starting in round 1 Euron Crow's Eye was doing his thing. I was able to keep Balon Greyjoy from doing but the renown was stacking quick and Risen from the Sea stopped my Dracarys!. I think this game lasted 6 rounds.

Round 4: Win vs Nights Watch Fealty
So Targ Sun loves Nights Watch. I setup 5 including a Maester Caleotte to his 4. I need to see icon manipulation in this matchup so I was pleased to see the maester. He flipped Here to Serve for Aemon and was only able to marshal a Steward at the Wall which he had with duped Samwell Tarly with 2 attachments and Yoren. So that was 4 characters with just + Sams from the Practice Blade.

Plaza of Punishment burned Aemon turn 1 and from that point forward Khal Drogo, Dracarys, Plaza and Tears kept his board down to 1-2 all game.

That placed me 2nd in Swiss

Top 4: Loss vs Greyjoy Fealty
Rematch. Yea. Seastone Chair on turn 1 again and by round 2 Asha, balon and Euron were all out. His Newly-Made Lord popped my Plaza and Euron stole it, then him and his crew pillaged everything good off the top of my deck. I was able to burn Asha and tears Euron but that wasn't enough. He ended up winning in the final.

The addition of Shadowblack Lane and Nymeria Sand are huge. In my winter kit tournament I hit pretty often with it and actually was able to see 4 Dracarys! in each of those games.

I play Wildfire Assaultmore offensively and like following it with a Fire and Blood to secure a more dominant board. Adding Bastard Daughter to that mix is even nicer now with killing characters and discarding cards from hand.

I originally included Attainted in this build but ended up taking it out after talking with @cml, which was the right call. But I think going forward I'm going to try adding more attachments and may revisit Milk of the Poppy for that damn matchup.

Solid deck and nice work on coming second. I feel like attained would have helped you a lot if you faced Lanister but it doesn't seem like there is much of that in your meta.

@hotpiethanks. I agree on your point with Lannister and I didn't expect to face many that day. But also one of the biggest pains to have across the table is Catelyn Stark as well. But Nymeria does the trick.

Most of the time with Nymeria I'll yank an icon so I'm actually looking forward to testing out the new attachment that will take a Icon away.

I think adding a couple of milk will help a lot vs greyjoy but what would you take out?, maybe -1 obara and -1 unsullied? I was also wondering if you think syrio has a place in this deck as it would really help getting the plaza going against bara's red keep, and anti stealth vs those pesky greyjoys! I am running your deck at a store championship tomorrow so I will let you know how I do.

@hotpieobara definitely stays. She is nice with Nymeria and the surprise power defense when your opponent forgets is really nice. Maybe unsullied and either a badtard daughter or edric. I love edric but honestly most turns he sat on the board with no icons because I have to prioritize events.

I like syrio a lot but I had to take him out because that 5g straight up is hard to play. Little finger atleast can be reduced by Noble and Nymeria has the desert scavengers.

Good luck. Let me know how you make out.

This reminds me of a deck that a lady would play during her menstration

The lack of girth this deck represents is astounding.

@ThumpDouglas``@Yoyoman can't figure out which one of you is Corey...and which one of you is Sean. I'm thinking Sean is Thump.
